There is a support beam (from basement floor to ceiling) in the middle of the room that they would like to remove. It is a 6'8" high 7 3/4" X 7 3/4" support that is directly under an area of a split in the main beam. There is 96" on one side of the support to the next support and 89" on the other side to the next support.
