I got an HF support from Majestic and it fits my 90 Si fine. I was thinking of fabricating a lighter rear support out of strips of aluminum. My car isn't street driven though. If it was my DD then I'd much rather have the thicker Si supports for safety reasons

Nov 11, 2004 · I wouldn't do the bumper thing unless this was a track only car. The front bumper weighs hardly anything, the rear is heavy but unless you have a race ready fuel cell and 6 point roll cage I wouldn't mess with the bumpers lol. If you're overweight and can loose yourself 20 pounds, that would be the same as removing a bumper lol.

The 88-89 HF's have a lighter duty rear bumper support then other 2nd generation (88-91) CRX's. If your trying to shave some weight from your car then you want the 88-89 HF bumper support because it's a few pounds lighter then the stock one for your car.
