have you checked the permissions on the repomd.xml file? check the full path to this file. Check all the permissions along the way as you go. The directory holding the packages, the repodata directory and the repomd.xml . I usually set directories to 755 , repodata 755 , files inside repodata which include repomd.xml 644.
