Funding for research training. UK Research and Innovation funding for postgraduate research training goes directly to Doctoral Training Partnerships (DTPs) and Centre for Doctoral Training (CDTs) who then undertake the selection and recruitment of students. Prospective students should contact the DTP or CDT at which they wish to study.

A Research Training Support Grant for consumables etc of £2,500 for the MSc year and £5,000 for each year of PhD study. A personal conference allowance of £1,050 over the three years of PhD study.
