And in case mouse and kb is a thing, is it safe to assume that the controls -especially when aiming- will be optimized for PC and not feel like I am playing a bad port that's really meant to be played with controller? Don't fret. Resident Evil 2 will support both Mouse & Keyboard and Xbox 360/Xbox One Gamepad Controller via Xinput.

Jan 21, 2014 · That's why Revelations had abysmal mouse support, sure. No offense but are you high? The M+KB support for 5,6,REV was great. Pretty much this. What I'm interested in is if the km support is usable now. If I remember correctly the original PC release had km support, just abyssmal and unusable. I remember buying a controller only to play RE4 ^^
