Yes if you use a 3rd party program. Use Pinnacle Game Profiler..there is a premade Risen setup on their forums. Xpadder is the most stable, has the most options, and is the easiest to use out of any 3rd party program for controller support.

Jul 18, 2013 · Be aware that Piranha Bytes always developed primaly for the PC. In fact Risen 1 was their first game to get a console port and it sucked. Hence I suggest you to go along with the keyboard, unless you prefer a controller, because you want to lay back on a couch. In my opinion Risen 1 has the best controls of all PB games.

Can anyone tell me how to get the game (DKS PC disc version) to recognize the XBox 360 controller? I have Xpadder, and I assigned the keys from the game to the controller profile, I can move the mouse around with the Xbox 360 controller on my desktop, however, it does not work in game. My keyboard/mouse set up is USB wireless.

Feb 26, 2018 · So i beat Risen 1 using a Xbox 360 controller, I went and played Risen 2 and beat it using a Xbox 360 controller, But it seems Risen 3 doesn't have any controller support, Is there an unoffical patch for this or am i over looking something ...

Aug 08, 2014 · From what I found, it seems Risen 2 did have native controller support AND, if you switched to controller mode, it actually changed the UI to be like the 360 game, dropping the shortcut bar for radial menus. Seems it only worked with XInput controllers though, so you needed a 360 controller or a program to emulate one.

Aug 14, 2014 · Stop lying, I have tried xbox 360 controller and xbox one controller, and they both work perfectly. Plug them in and go to options and TURN ON CONTROLLER. It works perfectly fine, I ahve played 41 hours with controller. Stop being lazy and go into the game options, you will then see a Controller option to turn on, turn that one and itll work.
