Risk of Rain doesn't recognize the gamepad, I'm using a Xbox 360 controller emulator and so far this is the only game that seems not to recognize the controller's inputs, tried to contact developer but never got a response, anyone knows of a patch to fix this problem?, I'm currently using a PS4 controller with the DS4 adapter, thanks in advance, would love to be finally able to play this game...

Nov 10, 2013 · Tested on Windows and OSX. Controller on before starting the game; gamepad enabled in options. Game doesn't detect the controller inputs at all during rebinding or gameplay. Programs that remap the inputs to keyboard keys won't do, as I use it for local co-op. Would be nice if this game's controller support were brought up-to-par.

The longer you play the harder it gets, do you tear through the levels as fast as you can or do you spend time collecting some of the many ability granting artifacts? Gamepad support? So I have a Logitech Rumble Pad 2 and can't get it to work with RoR, x360ce or not. Dos anybody know of a way to successfully connect and use said controller, or is it another example of the shitty and frequent indie doctrine of fully supporting only the 360 controller?

Nov 17, 2013 · Partial Controller support sort of implies you won't NEED to use the mouse but at times the keyboard will be required and mouse input is helpful (think FPSs, RPGs, etc.) . Full controller support implies you need not mouse nor keyboard AT ALL.
