These packages have already been patched as necessary and make use of DKMS, which means the driver will be correctly recompiled whenever you update your kernel.

For my [[HighPoint]] RocketRaid 2740, I'm currently only able to get the first 8 drives SMART info and it errors out for the remaining 8. It turns out [[HighPoint]] has a bug anytime they have more than one controller on a PCI-e bridge controller in their driver.
