There only 4 kernels here, the stock, spz0's oc kernel which is only in his rom OA, Req's oc kernel for the CM7 beta and stock++, and pressy5pie's kernel that is simply req's oc kernel with added frequencies to further overclock.

Mar 15, 2012 · I have a swap partition together with my Ext3 partition for A2SD (I have a 16GB SD card). However, I am not sure how the system uses it. Is there any developed Kernel or ROM (with the appropriate Kernel) that would have a swap support and will that make my phone run more fluently and hopefully allow me to run my c++ codes in the linux environment?

Mar 16, 2019 · HOT SWAP is when you swap the PCB from one drive to the other without removing power. Swaping chips doesn't have anything to do with HOT SWAP apart from the HOT soldering station. If you READ the ROM on Toshiba with your firmware tools you can WRITE the rom to a chip later on if you do kill the ROM with the soldering iron/station.

That said, there is one custom ROM I am aware of which has swap support built in called Viper OS, more information on this ROM is available in it's official support thread on XDA Developers. Be aware there are custom kernels that support zRAM, or compressed RAM, which might be sufficient for your needs...
