Jan 18, 2019 · I contacted customer support directly, and essentially received this as a response: "I can tell you that this issue most likely stems from the device you're using, as the mobile app is optimized for use with mobile phones rather than tablets." So it would seem that currently, tablet optimization in not a strong priority for the mobile app.

I suppose there are applications like team viewer that stream RuneScape from an external computer, however this means RuneScape wouldn't actually be running directly off of the tablet natively. Currently I use a venue pro 8 tablet to play RuneScape occasionally and what makes it work quite well is using a touchscreen touchpad.

There is a HTML5/WebGL engine for RuneScape now that could allow it to run on tablets, but it's very demanding hardware wise and browsers on tablets do not currently support the features required to run it, only Chrome on desktop PCs can currently run it.
