This message is created by Axis, and occurs when trying to invoke methods from a web service which is associated with attachments. To invoke methods in a web service associated with attachments you need to add the relevant 3rd party libraries / JAR files in the classpath (e.g. mail.jar and activation.jar).

Mar 09, 2007 · It seems that the way to do this is using DIME attachments, supported by both Apache Axis on Java side and .NET. In order to test the message creation, I used a prototype that send a SOAP request for a .NET web service and display the result, adding some code to create the DIME attachments.
