From what I've understood from the digging I've done over the last hour, Nvidia hasn't released a SLI configuration for Rust because both Rust and Unity are constantly being updated at a core level, so they'd have to also constantly update their SLI configuration.

Go to Add Application to Current Profile and go to your Rust folder in steamapps/common and select Rustclient.exe. Afterwards apply these settings under SLI: Nvidia Inspector Settings You'll want to keep those settings the same other than the Number of GPUs to use, obviously change that to the amount of GPUs you have in SLI.

The thread is called "Official NVIDIA SLI Profile Request Thread" [forums.geforce.com] so the community can ask for an SLI Profile to support the Game. Please take a minute and write a request reply to get the SLI support for Rust.
