Welcome to Scarborough & Ryedale Carers Resource. We are the ‘go to’ organisation offering support to carers, and the wider community, across the coast and vale. Our core work focuses on unpaid family carers. A carer is someone who looks after a member of their family or a friend when they have an illness, condition, a disability or are elderly.

Scarborough and Ryedale Carers Resource runs a telephone helpline for carers. These are designed to answer quick or simple queries or to make initial contact which may then lead to further support if necessary. The helpline is manned by a qualified and experienced Support Worker so you can be assured of a friendly and professional service.
