Feb 23, 2009 · With MKV the only major drawback is that SagTV doesn't support chapters or subtitles for the container. The only major drawback I can think of for the container itself is that it doesn't support any HD subtitle formats. Only text based and DVD based subtitles are supported. Better MKV support in SageTV will come in time.
