Salesforce on Safari is a pretty mediocre experience, both for users and customers. Even though macs are a minor share of the market, they're the platform for about 85% of my customers. The SSP seems to really problematic with Safari. Not to mention that mac salesforce users have issues with desktop integration, etc. I need full Safari support!

Login to Salesforce.com through Safari. NOTE: You may need to re-launch Safari if you still can not login. Double tap the 'Home' button. Tap and hold on the 'Safari' app. Tap on the 'stop' icon. Tap on the screen to close the task manager. Open Safari.

Dec 25, 2019 · FYI, I found Firefox for Mac works better as an alternative to Safari 5 for salesforce. That having been said, Firefox has an annoying habit of downloading pdfs when a page is rendered as a pdf as opposed to displaying it as a plug in.
