Apr 05, 2017 · Meanwhile I have managed to install Samsung Update on the 128GB SSD. The guy from Samsung told me that it updates the BIOS if needed. (But I see from your link that that may/may not be true.) The overall impression is that Samsung really don't like supporting products - they would much prefer that we go and buy their next shiny bit of hardware.

Sep 17, 2016 · The Samsung Series 7 Chronos would either keep rebooting over and over as it would only look to the Express Cache Disk 0 for an OS when only Windows 7 was installed on Disk 1. It looks like Win7 maybe the prob, Win8 and 10 may work. So you may have to install Win 8 or 10

Oct 08, 2015 · I recently upgraded to Win 10 on my Samsung Series 7 Chronos note book. I went from a boot time of 15 seconds to a 3 min boot time on Windows 10. I already tried disabling non essential start up programs, defragged my HDD, activated hybrid power, and performed a deep virus scan. And nothing changed I still had a excruciating slow boot up time.
