Nov 12, 2013 · Yes, but you will use it in NON-RAID mode. You cannot switch from non-RAID to RAID - they are neither compatible nor interchangeable. If you want RAID, you need to backup your data, replace SAS 5/i with SAS 5/iR, configure RAID, then restore data.
