Jan 07, 2010 · My environment is: server 2003 sp2 sccm sp2 wsus 3.0 sp2 I am trying to enable unknown computer support with the PXE service point properties and unfortunately that check box is not available? Does this option work with server 2003 or do I need server 2008? I tried uninstall the PXE service point and WDS, restarted the server.

Basically all computers that are not in the SCCM database will be treated as Unknwon computers (either x86 or x64), so when a new computer boots up it will automatically receive advertisements for these objects.Author: Frode Henriksen
