Apr 28, 2011 · Hello, I need some help with the config.sys and autoexec.bat to get the pcmcia cd rom to be supported on the win98 boot disk. I am reloading windows onto a fujitsu B series 2545 laptop, pentium III, 256mb ram. I have a usb floppy and a external cdrom connected with a pcmcia card and a cable. The cdrom and the pcmcia card are from Fujitsu also.

I press F6 during the prompt and the screen keeps itself busy for a few more seconds, but then when it gets to 'Setup is loading files (Kernel Debugger DLL)', the CD drive goes quiet and nothing onscreen changes at all. It's not even looking at the CD, it'll let me remove the disc without noticing. Any ideas?

The 5102wlmi's BIOS utility doesn't have any options to disable USB support, so my only way of disabling them has to be via the Windows XP setup cd and/or tweaking its driver files to remove USB support. I'd appreciate any help to accomplish it …

Jan 30, 2013 · The hardware is a PCI card with a TI 1410 PCI to PCMCIA bridge chip the rest of the hardware looks like a custom PCMCIA card. I have this card installed on a Windows 7 64-bit platform. Windows has installed pcmcia.sys to talk to the TI 1410 and has sucessfully enumerated the PCMCIA device.
