May 25, 2017 · If I'm not mistaken the RX460 is a Direct 12 card. It is not necessarily compatible with FSX, which is a DX9 based piece of code. There are compatibility issues between your new en very good graphics card and the outdated code of FSX, for example where shaders arwe involved.

Oct 23, 2012 · I installed an EVGA GeForce GTX 660 TI+ 915MHZ 3GB 6.0GHZ GDDR5 and have been having issues with it. I installed 306.81 WHQL and deleted my fsx.cfg. When I pressed the FSX.EXE on the taskbar I received the following message: "This graphics card does not meet minimum requirements for shader support.

I just bought FSX Gold and i installed both of them but when i clicked to open it it said "The graphics card does not meet minimum requirements for shader support. This product requires a geForce3/Radeon8500 class or better graphics card. Flight Simulator will now exit."
