If google, Microsoft, Facebook etc... all stopped supporting IE6 then why should I have to support it. On a more technical note. If you use clean html and css without any fancy positioning and lots of JS effects your site will look fine in IE6 anyway.

Oct 19, 2008 · Yeah, one should be ashamed to use a seven year old browser, but many big companies have IT departments that move soooo slow. If you are building a new site today, I would stay tough bananas to anyone using IE6. It won't be worth your pain to support IE6. Once IE8 is out, I would cancel support for IE6 for existing sites too.
