The SIEF is a specific cooperation for REACH registration, organised by the co-registrants, and usually formalised in an agreement, that was set up for the phase-in scheme transitory period. You need to contact your co-registrants about joining the SIEF.

A Substance Information Exchange Forum (SIEF) is formed automatically within REACH-IT. It is comprised of all the relevant stakeholders (see below) for each substance. There is a separate SIEF for each substance with a different EC/CAS number.

The REACH-IT pre-SIEF webpage provides contact email addresses for each SIEF member, and SIEF participants must organise their own form of communication and co-operation. It-supported systems can provide support for the management of all these tasks.
