In the defaults association check off screen there is no MAPI category, and therefore no item to check to associate the MAPI with send mail. thanks for your attention to this matter. My client can save a PDF to his documents folder, then insert or attach it to an email manually.

Dec 25, 2003 · It does not. Until I click the OK button, messages will not appear in the Express windows. I've had this problem before and tried some Mapi32 drivers until I found one that worked. Cannot seem to find many now, only 2 on tech sites. The original Windows disc doesn't seem to have one. The driver in the Windows cab does not work.

Oct 14, 2018 · Outlook Express and Thunderbird don't support Extended MAPI. The normal way to use Thunderbird with a Microsoft Exchange Server requires the admin to enable the POP/IMAP/SMTP mail servers that are bundled with that server. If they don't do that see here for some alternatives.
