May 31, 2010 · If you are talking about Microsoft Cardspace, it is included in Windows Vista and Windows 7. In Windows 7, you can access it simply by going to Start, Search and typing in Cardspace. Apr 08, 2015 · Turns out there is two kinds of CRD file and Windows CardSpace is a different thing. I tested the backup file created by Windows Vault and it cannot be opened by Windows CardSpace or other card program. It is encrypted and used for restore Windows credentials. For your reference
