    Because there are so many things going on in Raft besides the details of the raft itself, it's a good idea to keep it activated. If you want to turn off the raft, you can do that by turning off the next option: in Skeinforge 50 it's called Add Raft, Elevate Nozzle, Orbit, but the name is slightly different in other versions of Skeinforge.

    Printing support without a raft isn't possible with ReplicatorG+Skeinforge, but swapping out Skeinforge with Slic3r adds that flexibility. It would probably be better to design a part that stacks differently. Some models such as the Eiffel Tower require support; there is simply no other way.
