The default skyrim profile has a vorpx setting to override the xbox one controller, just turn that off and it will work mostly like it is supposed to. You can get to the setting by pressing the Delete key (in game), and then pressing the side arrows at the top of the menu screen until you see it, it's about the fifth menu across.
