Aug 09, 2017 · WoW that is a lot of trouble to go through for one topper and what if you have More than one slide. I am gland I have I am guessing the older type topper and think it is called Omeg II or something but the topper covers the slide and than another part Comes out acting as a awning and has straps pulling it taught down ward.

Feb 01, 2009 · You can see that the topper support has the topper canvas under a sight amount of tension. It is enough to keep the topper from flapping in the South Texas breezes. The idea for the topper support we got from Trailer Life Magazine was built with 3/4" PVC pipe. Since our slide is 14', we decided to use heavier 1-1/4" pipe.

Apr 07, 2018 · I always carried some PVC pipe with me to slide under the slide awning whenever I felt we were going to have rain. 1 1/2” pipe to whatever length you want and end pieces that Had three openings, one for the pipe and two for the legs I cut about 6” .also an end cap to form a smooth contact on the leg end.. this forms a support to hold up the awning in case you get a lot of water.

Oct 23, 2011 · I missed the request for photos of my topper support on the previous thread, so here's a shot of it. Simply PVC pipe sections. The uprights are glued together, but the long crossmembers are simply inserted in and then slid across the top of the slide. For seasonal or long-term stays, this works. If you're moving every few days, it might not be your cup of tea.
