Sep 01, 2016 · I have recently purchased a used HP DL380 G7 server which didnt come with any instructions or installation disks. I have the downloaded the VMWare ESXi ISO but before I install that I need a SmartStart Cd as per HPs website to configure the drive controllers so I can create drive arrays.

Now the server just reboots once it reaches the Windows Logo page. I then downloaded SmartStart 8.30 and ran it and get the message "SmartStart does not support deployment for this server." So now i am stuck between a rock and a hard place as i can't boot up the server and I can't reinstall it using the SmartStart or the Server 2003 CD.
