Nov 22, 2019 · Re: 360 Controller on Snes9x-gtk Most old emulators do not support that Xinput stuff. Use a normal HID based controller or find a program to convert Xinput to HID (x360ce may do that not sure). Original, the only way to play.

Just imagine, using the same controller to play both Halo 3 and Super Mario World... *avoids discussion of ROMs and emulators* ;) If you have a wired Xbox 360 controller you can also use that with Snes9x and other emulators.

Feb 10, 2016 · The Xbox One controller did NOT work with Snes9x or ZSNES out of the box, though it worked fine on Steam / Windows games and a few other emus. Ice has not helped my controller issues; I had to map them manually as described above. Snes9x required a manual edit of the .cfg file.

Sep 07, 2013 · snes9x emulator has worked fine for me in the past I recently re-downloaded it and now im having issues with the controller configuration . I have no problem mapping the buttons with the USB controller on the emulator itself, but when I try to play a game, none of the buttons work.

Mar 25, 2008 · I'm having a bit of a techincal issue with using my 360 controller. When I have my controller on and I start up Zsnes. I get no sound whatever. If I start the emulator, then turn on the controller, then I get nothing at all, the controller won't register. I hope there's a fix to this problem and I'm not the only one having it either. Thanks.
