Apr 07, 2006 · I've looked around on google and it appears that PHP doesn't come with support for SNMP by default. How do I go about adding SNMP support to PHP? Like I said, I'm a bit of a newbie to Linux so I don't know much of anything about compiling things, if that's what it takes to gain SNMP support in PHP.

Now compile PHP --with-snmp[=DIR].. If you see strange segmentation faults in combination with SNMP commands, you did not follow the above instructions. If you do not want to recompile UCD SNMP, you can compile PHP with the --enable-ucd-snmp-hack switch which will work around the misfeature. The Windows distribution contains support files for SNMP in the mibs directory.

Im trying to monitor a HP JetDirect printer using i template i found on the forum. However Zabbix says "Support of SNMP parameters was not compiled in" next to my items. I have tried compiling with both --with-ucd-snmp and --with-net-snmp however neither of them change anything. It compiles without errors still. Im on Ubuntu Server.

There's a good chance you're installing pre-compiled binaries with the yum command. To be clear: --with-mysql is not a php configuration setting but rather something that is done with the php source. As @Andrew suggested it makes the most sense to install the php-mysqlnd extension.

Jul 17, 2014 · Just run mkdir /tmp/dns or change the path/file in config.php. The MySQL erro is because the version of MySQL if I not wrong but to solve, just change "TYPE" by "ENGINE" word in all file and run SQL statements again. Hope this helps. Bye.
