Jan 28, 2007 · I don't recall for sure, but I thought the only the 3c589 cards worked and not the 3c57x cards I got Solaris 10-b69 installed on my Dell Inspiron 4100 after almost a week of trying (turned out I had a bad CD burned in the batch) but I'm using the built in network card elxl0 I've "hacked" drivers before to make them work on newer versions of solaris, I can't remember how the xig patch is ...

Feb 15, 2018 · Regular support (Oracle calls it Premier Support in this case) for Solaris 10 ended on January 2018, and only Extended Support (with a separate paid agreement between customer and vendor) is available through January 2021.
