Sep 10, 2007 · Now here comes the problem. Vmware support the processor, but to get it to work properly I need to be able to enable VT support in the BIOS, but the BIOS is rather basic and doesnt give me the option. The official Sony line is that VT "Is not supported" (a horrible phrase that!) but there is no explanation to support that statement.

Feb 24, 2011 · Hello all, 1st poster here. I have a Sony Vaio VGN-AR630E that I am trying to do some BIOS mod to turn on the VT-x option. The BIOS is Version R1050J8. Sony has no update for it as I have contacted Sony and was told flat out they don't have one. It would be nice to be able to see what all options there are in the BIOS.
