Dec 07, 2010 · I have a Spring 3.0 app running on WebLogic 10.3.3. It registers a Spring bean with JMX. When I run it locally on my laptop, JConsole can connect "locally" and view and manipulate the JMX bean. When I deploy the same EAR to WL 10.3.3 on a Solaris/X86 VM, I'm unable to connect with a "remote" connection from JConsole.

Jun 02, 2010 · Using the standard JMX stuff coming with the JDK is not hard, but since I use a lot of spring, I wanted to know more about spring support. The most important question in the end will be, is it easier to use spring with jmx than the standard jmx stuff from the jdk.

I am getting warning message from JConsole which is shown each time when my application sends the notification to the registered Spring MBean server. I am getting my hands on using JMX with Spring 3.0. I have registered my ServiceImpl class as a MBean server. Here is my configuration

The code I'm using is copied directly from the Spring examples - I thought it could connect to the JMX Service Bean, because that seems like the entire premise of the Spring connector. I'm not expecting the property to be a RMI connection, but the exception seems to think it is - that is the thing that comes back is apparently a RMI connection.
