Made the procedure described above, and Squeezebox Server still has precarious support to ALAC 24/96, and none for ALAC 24/192. Still waiting for a solution. I’ve read somewhere that FFMPEG support is needed for this purpose… Just a suggestion!

May 08, 2010 · There is a bug in 7.5.0 with Apple Lossless decoding on servers so it affects all players. Upgrade to 7.5.1. and this fixes it for most users although not all and so there is a bug open requesting samples of offending files.
