well technically speaking, 35 phones can support 100 simultaneous calls but the users would be pretty busy. What I actually meant was that 35 phones can be supported in CME or SRST, that is, 35 phones registered directly to the ISR. The 100 simultaneous calls relates to the E1 or T1 DS0 capacity.

But, what I read in the Cisco books states that I shouldn't have to since the SRST Gateway Device is the phone's default Gateway. So, now I'm confused on if a SRST reference is needed or what the problem may be.
