    Nov 02, 2012 · IMHO it looks that the SL7V3 (Pentium M 765) has a CPUID 06D6h and, contrary to what Intel shows in the link I mentioned, doesn’t have NX/PAE support. The SL7SL (Pentium M 770) has CPUID 06D8h and NX/PAE support. I placed a Pentium M 715 in a Intel 915 chipset (where a M 770 has NX/PAE support) and it didn’t show NX/PAE.

In the 'Messages' of Boinc is shows 'Processor Features' and shows: Processor features: fpu tsc pae nx sse sse2 pni mmx Yet, when I look on the net I find it is higher than the sse2? I am just looking for some clarification so I know what optimized app version to install.

    Dec 24, 2009 · Hi,Too many times in the past I've gotten bug reports from users with systems without SSE2 support, because I had unknowingly used an SSE2 instruction somewhere.Problem is:-my compiler (Delphi) can't tell me where I've used an SSE2 instruction-I can't find anything in my BIOS to disable SSE2 (apparently some have such features?)-it's hard to rely on users for debugging things …
