My thought on this Well this is an FPS, and as far as I know FPSes don't stick with controllers as good as the humble mouse and keyboard. Like said before it would be near to impossible to aim with scope wobble using a controller. Not only that though, you can still use your mouse and keyboard to use your computer, surf the internet, use Photoshop.

Ive a PS3 controller, connected via USB, MotionJoy to recognise inputs as Xinput, and Xpadder running to configure, however once STALKER loads, it simply stops recognising my controllers inputs.

When your windows search brings up the files (order by date might help you), take the files from the folders that start x86_microsoft (the ones that start amd64_microsoft are 64bit versions).
