Partial only means that some parts of the game can not be used with a controller. Nothing more, nothing less. Full Controller support means the whole game can be accessed with a controller, this includes all menus. It says nothing about which controller is supported.

Jul 04, 2013 · Steam seems to have the 360 controller as sort of an unofficial controller so the partial controller support should mean that the 360 controller is the controller in question. Let me guess, you own Rumble Pad 2? Partial controller support: Game works with controller but you have to use mouse/keyboard in some parts like for example menus.

I have played many, many games on Steam, including FPSes, that have "partial gamepad support" and a majority of them had perfectly acceptable gamepad controls. This game, however, does not. Period. They should not have included it AT ALL since it's so terrible.

The controller is fully supported though, and I would definitely recommend it over mouse and keyboard controls. If you're playing to grab achievements, there are bugs with it. If you go to play Darksiders a second time, make sure you restart the steam client or they won't always register. In the game you find an optional set of armor.
