My sons board of it, finances are tight and I am trying to get out of a contract. 12 months down the line life's changed and cant afford it but they wont let us out of the contract. Waste of money, time and you get no support. All they want is your money. Any advice from me will be DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THE STUDENT SUPPORT CENTRE.

I have got a letter from the kids' headteacher about a service called the Student Support Centre. The school hasn't ever sent any advice on support at home before, but this is a letter from the head, saying although she doesn't actively endorse it, she wanted to give us an opportunity to find out more about it.

Update about our meeting tonight. The student support centre has been going for 28 yrs so well established and 80% of schools are happy to give their info out even though they are not allowed to endorse them. We had a man come and talk us through the programme, asking us why we had contacted them, what we expected etc.
