We believe no suicide loss survivor should go without support. Since 2008, the Alliance of Hope has been working to decrease stigma, increase understanding of the suicide loss experience, and provide direct support to survivors. Every 40 seconds, someones dies by suicide, leaving 6-8 loved ones grieving devastating loss.
As a consequence we wanted ‘give something back’ by raising the profile of Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide and by raising some funds to assist with their good work. As a family we cycled from Lands End to John O’Groats, visiting many support groups on the way. We were amazed by peoples generosity and we raised over £23,000.
