Feb 01, 2008 · I also was connecting to VZW via their Sync Client, to get my mail, contacts, calender pushed out. All has been just fine until 3 days ago. I've changed nothing on the Treo, but now the Treo won't sync up. On my XP work pc, I get "Active Sync encountered a problme on the desktop. Support Code:85010001.

WP8 meets all of the same security requirements for EAS that Android and IOS support so it seems to me that your IT Dept is lagging behind. They need to help you with this. Don't let them give you any BS about support for WP8.
