Dec 14, 2019 · The youview boxes the magic remote just does not work for me. Using the 3 dots from the remote appears to give control for some functionality, but again I can't get it to work. I use the dedicated controllers for each device, as I find it much simpler.

Check the Ethernet cable is securely connected to the Ethernet port. To be safe, disconnect and reconnect it. There should be two powerline adapters plugged in to your mains. One by your YouView box and one by your router.

Jul 21, 2019 · We only have the TalkTalk freeview channels. Using iPlayer via the youview box often crashes too - don't know if this is an iPlayer issue or the box/internet connection. Apologies if I haven't explained that very well. Will have a look on the TalkTalk foum regarding pixellation.

This was good as since then it has failed to find any channels so there is no debate about it being unfit for purpose and I can take back this rushed out, incomplete piece of junk and go with a manufacturer whose product actually works.
