There's a program called telnet6 for a reason. Also, if you're going with IPv6, why bother with telnet, which is old, unsafe, and unused (mostly) these days.

Hi i newbie in networking, currently i trying ipv6 addressing in packet tracer and also real router.. The problem is when i try in packet tracer, using cisco router 1841, after i set the ipv6 anycast address and telnet configuration, it work in other host pc, other pc can telnet using unicast address or the anycast.

Update: I have contacted the consumer support and they told that they condiser to implement IPv6 firewall in next firmware version. It is going to have configurable rules. I can disable DNS proxy service and set DNS servers on individual PCs. If I ignore the open telnet port, will I be safe enough?
