    Three community projects in each local area will be voted on by customers in Tesco stores throughout the UK*, with projects changing every other month. Following the vote, the project that received the most votes in its area will receive a grant of up to £2,000, second place receiving up to £1,000 and third place up to £500.

    Funding local community projects across Britain We encourage our customers to bring their own reusable bags to Tesco and in August 2017 we replaced single use carrier bags with new Bags for Life made from 94% recyclable plastic, to help reduce bag use. Customers can have their Bag for Life replaced for free if broken or damaged, in store.
