Sep 25, 2011 · Soylent: I believe one main deciding factor when choosing which version of DirectX to use in a game is the platform(s) on which it will be available. Since Witcher 2 was going to eventually make it to the Xbox 360, it had to be written with DirectX 9, which is the maximum version the Xbox supports.

dosent matter if the integrated gpu has full dx 11.2 and full dx12 support, chances are it wont be able to play witcher 3 at minimum settings. If you try to play games on a IGPU, you might aswell buy a console, because its better than your pc. And your probably too clueless to install a GPU, lol.

Last year I bought a new gpu just to play this one, since it was the wisest decision to be made, with the money I had. So a GTX 750 Ti for 130 $ for visible improvements in gaming was worth it.

So is skyrim, if you said that for skyrim i would agree, but there is still 1 dlc coming so its not ded yet, and i wont play it until i can play it 4k 60FPS because i have horsepower to do it but games shitty dx11 does not allow it unless fucking flickering.
