Nov 04, 2010 · It is the 2008 R2 that became a problem for redirected printers from t he HP Thin Clients. The HP Thin Clients run Windows Xp embedded. HP support had me update to RDP 7, same version that is running on our Window 7 PC's. The Windows 7 PC's connect to R2 and magically redirect every printer, no matter what it is, up to the server.
