Re: App Does not work on Jailbroken iOS Device Wow, you do in fact have some conspiracy theories. why the contract with the networks, because is their content and they want to protect it and the only way to assure this is by only allowing DirecTV to run the app on non-modified devices.

Oct 22, 2014 · If its not working yet just wait, the developer is really good at updating that tweak. On a side note, I think there's a companion package for con which prevents the App Store from updating a particular app so you don't run into this problem where the app won't work on a jailbroken device. Edit: whoops looks like PaintheSkyGrey beat me to it.

@zwitterelf . Sadly the app simply does not work on a jailbroken device. There was an extensive discussion late last year and after escalation, IIRC, the decision was taken to disabled it if the device had been jailbroken.
