Way to get around Photoshop's "does not support editing of banknote images"? Not trying to make counterfeit bills or anything, just want to use some money as a background image but Photoshop refuses to open it for editing. Someone have a work around for this? 7 comments. share.

Apr 08, 2016 · The bank note size as a percentage of overall image seems to be a deciding factor based on an ultra-brief test on whether this will work. I can print screen with two monitors, and it works, but just print-screening one screen with the image at the same size, not so.

Mar 24, 2017 · It's more likely a legal issue - not a choice by Adobe in Photoshop. As other image editing software follow the same rules. The reason that images with currency are available is that images are meant for more than just Photoshop. Many times the images are used just the way they are in projects without any editing.
