But I observed there was (-) in front of NX and PAE while (*) in front of SSE2. Now what does this mean. As you told if there is (*) then it means the system supports the bits.

Try upgrading from 44 to the higher numbers, it will still allow this method to work as SSE2 instructions in firefox have been purposely end arounded from way back to the point these functions are actually not needed even running Flash which was the first to require SSE2 way back in the days of Win 98.
