Windows Vista (and XP and 7), being built on the far better basis of Windows NT, will show up as such when you try to install such old games on it. Try running the install program in compatibility mode for whatever OS the game says it supports.

The SAM database on the Windows NT Server does not have a computer account for this computer. . will show up as such when you try to install such old games on it.
